When I started off in 2014, I envisaged this patchwork of gardens that are that little bit more sustainable. Collectively, they would support biodiversity, wellbeing and regenerate nature. What I have come to realise is that for this to really happen, I need to look beyond garden design and landscaping. I need to look at all the people that use these gardens.
Their knowledge and skills to respond to their garden sustainably is as important as creating the garden. And them passing this knowledge on, to others, is how we can have the biggest impact - together. That's why my new way of working is packed full with opportunities to learn the tools that you need to garden sustainably. Side by side or virtually.
